"Exclusion, Generosity, Division"
A photography project, in which I immersed myself at a protest held in Hollywood and acted as a photo journalist. This series is meant to capture the event in a way that draws the viewer, allowing them to be a part of history, a part of the news of today. Documenting the lives, emotions, and personalities of a group of people in America, these photos show the deeply personal aspects of political and historical conflict. As a viewer, you are able to be a part of this personal event, to be an active participant in this protest, and see every detail as if you were amongst the crowd.
One of the words in the title of this series is "division," but these photos present a paradox to that word. Here we see unity among a group and are invited to join with this crowd, no matter our similarities or differences. Let us be generous.
